Regolith is an oversized, boxy hoodie with a simple, widely spaced vertical lace pattern that imitates the surface of asteroids. The pullover is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up and then sewn together using the mattress stitch. The shoulders are joined using the Three-Needle Bind-Off, and the hood is picked up and knit from the neck edge. A draw-cord casing is created on the hood by folding in the front edge and sewing it down.
